About the CED-Level 1 Program
This program will guide the candidates through the concepts of an Ethereum Blockchain , while helping them master in Ethereum Programming.
By completing the program, participants will be able to code their own smart contracts on the Ethereum network; while also exploring the theory behind Tokens, ICO's, DAO's, and many more exciting new industry standard approaches to Blockchain Development.
This program consists of three days intensive training course and one week of group work on a capstone project. You will receive a certificate upon completion of the course.

This program consists of three days intensive training course and one week of group work on a capstone project. You will receive a certificate upon completion of the course. Participants must attend all program modules and successfully complete the capstone project and final exam to receive a certificate. Once the certificate is granted, it will be hashed on the Ethereum blockchain and is globally accessible for further verification.
Module1-Intensive Training Module (3 days)
Day 1 : Introduction to Ethereum Blockchain Development
From cryptography to distributed/decentralized networks, participants will learn the basic concepts underlying most Blockchains. They will understand the basic evolution of Blockchains from Bitcoin to Ethereum. How and why this evolution took place, as well as understanding the historical context. There will be a main focus on how Ethereum works programmatically. We will be exploring Ethereum Theory, focusing on crypto-economics, token design and ICO's.
Day 2: How to code an Ethereum Blockchain
This module will focus on the programming aspects of Ethereum. Participants will learn the nuances of Solidity in the context of traditional web development. following this module, they will be able to set up a development environment and code their own specific smart contracts.
Day 3: Ethereum Blockchain Development in practice
This module will focus on the hands-on programming of an Ethereum Blockchain. Participants will code their own smart contracts as well as building an ICO.
Module2-Capstone Project Submission (7 days)
Your capstone project is 1 or more smart contracts designed for a use case of your choice. It is due one week after finishing the intensive course (Module1).
You will receive a certificate upon completion of the course. Participants must attend all program modules and successfully complete the take-home assignment/exam to receive a certificate. Once the certificate is granted, it will be hashed on the Ethereum blockchain and is globally accessible for further verification.
We will make every effort to present the program as advertised, but it may be necessary to change the date, location, instructors or content with little or no notice. In the event of program cancellation, Blockchain Hub’s liability is limited to reimbursement of paid fees.
Cancellations and Substitutions
Substitution of registrants is permitted at any time. If you are unable to find a substitute, a full refund is available if a cancellation request is received in writing 7 days prior to the program date. If a cancellation request is made with less than 7 days’ notice, a $75 administration fee will apply. No other refund is available.

Marek is a researcher, professor, and entrepreneur studying the potential of blockchain and distributed ledger applications to disrupt the technology and business landscape. He also has experience and interest in modelling and simulation of complex social systems, machine learning, data analytics and the design of next-generation participatory decision support platforms.
After earning his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering in 2011 (thesis topic: evolution of behaviour within models of complex social systems) Marek has held several postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Manitoba, York University, and University College London (UCL). Marek is presently teaching in the Master's of Business Analytics graduate program at the Schulich School of Business.
Neeraj is a Blockchain Architect and Advisor powered with broad-based experience in Payment Domain. He is a Certified Bitcoin Professional (CBP) and Ethereum Developer. He also holds certification in Project Management (PMP) & ITIL. In past, he has held leadership positions at R3, RBC Royal Bank and ScotiaBank.
He has been in the Blockchain space since 2011 and was among the first 50 Blockchain coder around the world. He has designed & implemented various major innovative Blockchain initiatives around the world (like taking LVTS, Fiat Currency, Loyalty, Bankers Acceptance, Trade & Finance, Identity system, Stock Exchange etc. on Blockchain) which are capable of disrupting existing financial system. Currently, he is Founder / CTO at DLT Labs and Chief Architect at San Francisco Stock Exchange where he is building world's first distributed stock exchange for small market business and startup on Ethereum. His company DLT Labs is currently running 25+ major initiatives around the world in Blockchain space.
